Camps and Field Trips

Field trips are scheduled to resume in the spring of 2024 at Overton Farms through a partnership with Bear Creek Collaborative and Overton Farms.  Field trips will include the history of Overton Farms as well as Native American history in the area during the same time.

Students will see demonstrations of tinsmithing, period cooking, candle dipping, animals, and other activities in some of the original pioneer structures.  Educational materials are available for pre-trip and post-trip learning enhancement.  Also available will be content standard correlations.
